Delices Alexandria Review
Want to listen about an awesome breakfast experience?
Here it is:
I was travelling in Alexandria,Egypt and I knew of a very famous shop called Delices. It's a patisserie shop that opened in 1922 in El Raml (an area in Alexandria) and is owned and operated by a Greek family up till this day.
When you enter through the Grand doors you find the cake, patisserie, chocolate, and ice cream area. They also offer Eastern cakes such as konafa and bassbousa. The display of the cakes was really elegant. The ice cream looks really tempting to the point that you want to try each and every flavor. Inside the shop you find the seating area and another door,on the right, that leads to La Veranda (a restaurant that offers Greek and French cuisine). The music that filled the atmosphere was pure Greek. The staff are really professional.
I ordered Spanish eggs, toast, and potatoes. Also, I ordered croissant with molten chocolate (It was basically extraordinary, the chocolate the melts inside your mouth). I ordered croissant with cheese and
Overall the place was amazing. I do recommend everyone to go and eat there.
Here are some photos of the place and the food
